Through initiatives like the #BeaBossLady learning program in Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria, we are equipping women who are job seekers, business owners, and e-commerce users with 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 designed to help them 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬, 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞
In partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, our 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 has impacted 2.4 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 1.75 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧. Over the last 5 years, the program has successfully placed 312,000 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 into dignified work and is now expanding into Kenya and Uganda—continuing its mission of empowering young women with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s workforce.
𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
The #EBizKwaVijana initiative in Kenya, in partnership with USAID - Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, has been instrumental in empowering youth with crucial 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐞-𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞. Remarkably, 53% 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧, ensuring that more young women are prepared to tap into the vast opportunities in the digital economy.
