Meet the #BeABossLady Giveaway Winners! 🎉 After reviewing your amazing entries, we are thrilled to spotlight six outstanding Boss Ladies who participated passionately, shared their learning journeys, and encouraged others to level up, too! 💪 While we initially planned to reward four winners equally, we saw just how impactful some entries were, especially those who didn’t just refer others but had referrals who completed their courses. 🙌 Referrals matter, but completion shows true influence. That’s why our selection was based on a mix of: - Social media engagement - Number of referrals - How many referrals actually completed a course These ladies stood out in various ways, and we are proud to celebrate them all! Swipe to meet our winners. #BeABossLady #JobbermanNigeria #WomenInBusiness #GiveawayWinners #LearnAndEarn #BossMoves

Jobberman Nigeria reposted this
Real Talent Solutions Are Rooted in Access, Empowerment & Local Action Africa’s youth are ready — ready to learn, to work, to lead. But readiness alone is not enough. Without the right tools, access, and belief in local potential, the talent gap continues to widen. At TATC, we believe the solution lies within us — in our communities, our innovations, and our commitment to connecting purpose with opportunity. That belief came to life at the Kaduna Career Fair 2025, hosted by Jobberman Nigeria, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation and the Kaduna State Government Held at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Conference Hall, this vibrant fair brought together more than 800 driven job seekers, including persons with disabilities, all eager to connect with real opportunities for growth. From the opening moments, the atmosphere was charged with intention and inspiration. Ahmed Alaga, Head of Partnerships at TATC, set the tone: “When preparation meets opportunity, it inevitably becomes success.” And this played out across the event, where diverse employers from sectors like Education, Fashion and Design, Financial Services, Hospitality, IT & Communication, Retail, FMCG, and Agriculture met with job seekers, offering career pathways and upskilling opportunities that matter. The stage was just as impactful. Speakers and panellists echoed a consistent theme: empowerment must be grounded in access, inclusion, and relevance. Prof. Hauwau Evelyn Yusuf, the keynote speaker, challenged attendees to reframe their job search: “Your phone is a complete workplace for you as a job seeker.” She emphasised the importance of skills over degrees and made a compelling case for inclusive workforce development: “Workforce empowerment is a security initiative.” Racheal Obi spoke directly to the silent barriers facing rural youth: “Lack of access to information is one of the things that can set you back, especially in the rural area.” Her challenge to employers was clear: Create genuine upskilling opportunities not as an afterthought but as an essential building block for sustainable talent ecosystems. Throughout the day, the connections made were powerful. From panel discussions to one-on-one engagements, the Kaduna Career Fair proved that home-grown solutions when paired with the right partnerships and platforms can spark real progress. This is the work we are committed to every day: bridging the talent gap by equipping young Nigerians with the soft skills, access, and exposure they need to grow, while also ensuring employers are matched with future-ready talent from across the country. To everyone who contributed to making the Kaduna Career Fair 2025 a phenomenal success, we say thank you. #CareerFair #JobbermanNigeria #TATC #Empowerment #BridgingTheTalentGap #YouthEmployment #CareerDevelopment #Nigeria #Kaduna

Well-crafted Kyangchat Swanta! We are glad you found The Kaduna Career Fair Insightful. Cheers to more impacts like this!
Forgive my photographer—it was a hot day! I attended the Jobberman Nigeria Career Fair in Kaduna on Saturday, 5th April 2025. Here are my hot takes blended with a few key takeaways: - AI isn’t taking over because it still needs us. Digitalization is here, but emotional intelligence, creativity, and critical thinking are still key. Tech should enhance, not erase, human input. - My phone is my office. It’s a powerful tool also a major distraction. (But can we talk about these outrageous data rates? What’s the justification now - dollar? subsidy? Why now?) - Prompt engineering is real. GIGO (Garbage In, Garbage Out) still holds true from basic computing to machine learning. AI only evolves as we do. - Women in the civic space should be left to thrive. From societal expectations and discrimination to limited access to finance and opportunities. Shoutout to women in power: please don’t drop the baton. There are still too many men in power backing young women into tight corners. - Mentorship. Advocacy. Visibility. I learned early on that these three are non-negotiables in navigating the workspace. - Imposter syndrome? You behold until you become. You refine yourself through experience and study. Carry yourself as the version you're working toward. - The mindset template: Resilience. Grit. Innovation. Emotional intelligence. Thick skin comes with time. Learn from others so you don’t repeat unnecessary mistakes. - My path is valid even if it’s not linear. Jungle gym progression is a thing. Success is a journey, and money is just one consequence of growth. - Put yourself out there. Document your process, it matters. I’ll take a pause here. Some reflections need more lines and maybe their own posts.
