Remote Administrative Specialist | Business Operations & Sales Executive | Virtual Assistant | Community & Project Manager | Helping Teams & Executives Stay Organized, Efficient & Purpose-Driven

𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗙𝗧 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬? 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘’𝗦 𝗠𝗬 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬. The week is wrapping up! How has it been for you? A few years ago, I wouldn’t have thought much about soft skills. I believed if I could learn the right tools and master technical skills, I’d be unstoppable. But in 2022, I took a Soft Skills Training with Jobberman Nigeria —not because I thought it was essential, but simply because it was available. Little did I know how much it would shape my career. Fast forward to today, working as a Remote Executive Administrative Assistant, I realize that while my readiness and technical skills got me the job, it’s my soft skills that help me excel. There have been moments when: ✅ My patience was tested by an urgent, high-pressure task. ✅ Communication made the difference between a misunderstanding and a seamless workflow. ✅ Problem-solving saved the day when things didn’t go as planned. Without realizing it, I had been applying everything I learned—adaptability, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and resilience—and those skills shaped me into the professional I am today. ➡️ TECHNICAL SKILLS GET YOU IN, BUT SOFT SKILLS KEEP YOU THERE. I’m grateful for the journey, and I know there’s still so much growth ahead. Have you ever taken a training that shaped your career in unexpected ways? Let’s talk in the comments! Shout-out to Jobberman Nigeria for this impactful training! #SoftSkills #CareerGrowth #RemoteWork #FridayReflections #SharingMyJourney #Jobberman

Meet Adejoju Ajagunna, one of our esteemed panelist. Adejoju is the Head of Customer Experience & Operations at Jobberman Nigeria, the leading Recruitment and Talent Management Company in sub-Saharan Africa. She has acquired over 16 years’ experience in customer service and B2C sales across several business verticals, including human resource, telecommunications and e-commerce. Within the last 8+ years, she has been responsible for customer service and experience management strategies across three leading Nigerian companies. Adejoju holds a BA in English Education and Masters in Diplomacy & Strategic Studies with specialisation in conflict management from the University of Lagos. Beginning her career journey as a Customer Service Associate at Airtel Nigeria, one of the leading mobile data providers in the country, she moved and quickly grew to assume the position of Customer Service Team Lead at Jumia, the first Nigerian e-commerce platform with international outreach. Within two years at Jumia, she was promoted to the Head of the Issue Resolution Unit, Customer Service where she reduced the duration of the service level agreement review by 50% and built a client relationship management (CRM) system later adopted in 11 countries. After her merit-driven transition into the role of the Head, Customer Service & B2C Sales Operations at Jumia, she set up a customer service unit active across 11 countries and designed a self-service option for customers, thus significantly reducing HR costs of managing customer returns. Adejoju joined Jobberman Nigeria in 2022 as the Head, Customer Experience & Operations, and has recorded notable achievements since joining the team. In this role, she designed an interactive voice response system for customers to get assistance automatically which led to 14% revenue growth. Her further upgrade of the interactive voice response system with a self-service option reduced support calls from staff by 12%, leading to HR costs optimisation. Owing to her outstanding expertise, the company has notably improved the customer service workflow and increased efficiency of all customer service channels. #IWD #WomenInLeadership
